I am running XP PRO - English and Norwegian MCE keyboard. I have found that buttons are not mapped correctly (ie. pressing - gives , or something). Whenever I hit a button that is not mapped correctly then IR server does not respond to remote or mec keyboard (incl. mouse).

    My log:
    Code:
    17.11.2007 18:11:17:	Log Opened
    17.11.2007 18:11:17 - Info: Starting IR Server ...

This happens when in MP and/or in XP-enviromnet (MP not running) - so no need for MP logs?

Thanks mate, I'll see what I can do.

I believe it's crashing the device reading thread, so I'll add some more error checking into it.

The strange mapping of buttons might be hard to figure out, but I'll see what I can do. I might need to give you a test application to gather more info on the buttons that aren't mapped correctly.

I'll get back to you on this shortly.

    Cheers,

    Hey,

That link is to this thread :)

How do you mean left-click didn't work properly? This is without disabling HidIr right?

    Cheers,

Without running IR Server or anything, the left-click doesn't work properly? Is that right?

    Missed your post (sorry).

Anyway: Seems all is ok now. What I did:
    - Installed KB linked to above
    - In IRSS - advanced - disabled HidIR
    - Enabled MCE in setup -> remotes (did not respond to special stuff like "Live TV" etc. before enabling this)
