I have read somewhere that even if the trial period is over, you can keep on using the Codecs as long as you do not uninstall powerdvd. Not sure if this is true, because I have a fully paid version.

A free alternative might be ffdshow, which is a good codec for allmost all formats that are out there.

Hmm, have i setup something wrong here?

However when I load up the TV, only the audio decoder from ffd appears in the tasktray, not the video decoder? Still running on 100mb+ RAM (MediaPortal only) @ 20% CPU.

One other little bug is sometimes if i load up the internet, it loads up behind the TV on the external monitor, and there is actually no way of moving it unless i close MediaPortal. MP is currently set on fullscreen but isnt set on "keep at front"?
