Hi to all, I am hoping someone out there may be able to assist me. I have recently moved from Australia to Dubai where all TV signals are either delivered by Satellite or Ethernet. My service, from DU, is via ethernet to the decoder with AV cables to the TV.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get this arrangement working with Mediaportal for veiwing, EPG and recording?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers Mick

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately Sat isn't readilly available in my area, the houses are all wired for ethernet and the supplier has this for the preferred method. Some do use satellite but it usually only to receive channels not normally avail, eg non engish channels.

I will have a play with the IPTV as suggsted.

Cheers
