Same for me : Did uninstall MP, clean the MP Program directory, uninstall .NET, uninstall ATI RW Software.
Then install ATI RW 3.03, then .NET V2 and MP V0.2.0RC4
The Remote wonder works fine under windows but again the double press symptom appear in MP, right from the beginning.
But I discovered that if I stop ATI RW software, the Remote Wonder do not work under windows (of course) but works under MP and correctly (no double click), except of course the mouse direction keypad on the top which remains inefficient.
IS there a pilot program in MP that handle te ATI RW by itself ?

Edit : And checked the reverse scenario : I activate ATI RW Software under windows and I uncheck 'Use X10 remote' on MP settings : The double click problem disappear under MP, but then the configuration of ATI-RW for MP in MP settings is not available.

LOL that's definately NOT a bug of MP then, guys!!!

No wonder that if you have the ATI software and MP running the button press on the remote is caught in 2 places:

    1. Ati Software sends a "Move down" command to the active window (MP)

    2. MP also catches the press and does ANOTHER "Move down".

Disable the ATI software! Simple as that!

Just curious: What is a pilot program?!? Does it make MP fly?

Some people use the word "pilot" when they talk about their remote. I never understood why, I can't make my TV or HTPC fly with it...

    Kind regards,

The problem is disabling the ATI software make the remote not usable for another software than MP. One solution would be to disable ati remote in MP and use the old MP plugin for the ATI software (http://www.youngtech.net/software/ati/). It seems to be old but i will make a tr. Anyone have already try this ?

One more problem with ati remote wonder support in MP : if i choose to associate the power button to standby windows, when i press this button i see the windows saying it 's preparing to standby and the system freeze. If i choose hibernate instead i have the same problem. I don't have any problem with other associations (powerdown reboot ...).
My system go to standby mode very fine from windows so i think the problem is from MP.

Thanks for the feedback Maschine
    But Tanguy is right :
Even for a fully dedicated HTPC, if you want to pilot some external applications (started through the Applications plugIn of MP) using the ATI Remote Wonder, you can't disable the ATI RW Software.
Then the only solution is to disable the X10 remote activation in MP and go back to the MP0.1.3.0 handling mode (via plugins, etc ...).
    Any other idea ?

No, I still think the only way is to disable the ATI software - or as you said disable the X10 support of MP. Imagine this: before launching MP you start WMP or winamp and play a music file. Then you launch MP and do also start playing a music file there. You will here one song mixed over the other as both are still playing. That's the same scenario as with the remote and I don't think you will call this a MP bug.

Same for the Standby problem: before MP is able to go to standby it needs to get some things stopped etc. Therefore we have some code in MP that does this stuff when a Standby request arrives. Now you are still running the ATI soft which catches the standby request and it never does arrive the MP code. So same reason I think.

For the ati remote plugin i agree with you but concerning the standby problem it still occurs with ati software disabled i can see it because in this case the cursor go up or down only once. So the standby freeze problem seems to be from MP.
