h.264 Video Codec: Cyberlink powerdvd (to enable UVD hardware accelaration of x.264 movies)

I have succeeded in enabling hardware accelaration of x.264 movies (when they are L4.1 encoded 1080p files). I have used the cyberlink powerdvd codec for h.264 decoding. UVD doesn't work with other external filters like vobsub and VSfilter. I had to remove VSfilter (autoloading version) form the postprocessing tab in MP configuration - movies tab.

But now I don't haven subtitles in x.264 mkv files... Please tell me there is a way to enable built in subs in mkv x.264 movies... without the need of the external Vobsub filter :(

I have turned on subititles in movies tab off course, but they don't show.

Other players like mediaplayer classic have a built in subtitle shower so wit mediaplayer classic I can enable UVD AND see subtitles. Why don't I succeed in Mediaportal?

MP doesn't have internal subtitle renderer (it has that only for DVB subtitles). So all other than DVD or DVB subtitles are going to disable the HW acceleration always under MP.

Ok... I was allready thinking that. But is there any change mediaportal will have an internal subtitle renderer soon? With more and more UVD capable gpu's and motherboards, this is imo a serious shortcoming compared to mediaplayer classic (homecinema version).
