h.264 Video Codec: Cyberlink powerdvd (to enable UVD hardware accelaration of x.264 movies)
I have succeeded in enabling hardware accelaration of x.264 movies (when they are L4.1 encoded 1080p files). I have used the cyberlink powerdvd codec for h.264 decoding. UVD doesn't work with other external filters like vobsub and VSfilter. I had to remove VSfilter (autoloading version) form the postprocessing tab in MP configuration - movies tab.
But now I don't haven subtitles in x.264 mkv files... Please tell me there is a way to enable built in subs in mkv x.264 movies... without the need of the external Vobsub filter
I have turned on subititles in movies tab off course, but they don't show.
Other players like mediaplayer classic have a built in subtitle shower so wit mediaplayer classic I can enable UVD AND see subtitles. Why don't I succeed in Mediaportal?
