I have no idea if this is possible but i decided to ask

i have this capture card, no TV input, just RCA input jacks

i have a VCR that has cable tv hooked up to it and then that is outputted to the RCA inputs on my k world card


I tried to get it to work but i get no video
"unable to greate graph"

but i do get video when i use the capture software for my card

is there any way to get this to work, or at least get video through this program?

VCR + capture card = will not work with this program?

Does this card's tuner normally work In Media Portal? If so, you would need to change the source input that the graph is using.

You want to view the graph using GraphEdit, and alter the section of the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file that refers to your card. The input pins would have different numbers, starting at 0.

my tuner card works for capturing VHS tapes (VCR is connected to my card), so there is no actual tuner on my card, the tuner is on the VCR that is connected to my Card

I may have given you false hope. I should have looked at the Version of Media Portal that you are using. I don't think that the TV server uses a CaptureCard Definitions file. If it did it would be in the /Program Files/Team-Media PortalMedia Portal.

Version 0.2.2.0 was the last stable release, and it uses that file to configure cards. You can maybe use GraphEdit to view the graph, and maybe watch, from your card. It's available in the downloads section
