This is the most powerful HTPC that I've built and yet it's the most unresponsive of my 3 hardware upgrades, and 3 other friends' HTPCs despite being significantly more powerful than any of them. I'm running TV Series and Moving Pictures. No TV. Main problem is an extremely long time to load start playing videos, up to 4 mins in some cases, and the same with DVDs. Everything works like a treat though Windows Media Player, so I know it's not hardware related. I'm going to try going back to 1.1 Alpha and see if that has any benefit but in the mean time, some advice would be greatly appreciated. [/QUOTE]
