Hello,

even with MP 1.2.2.0 I have very slow browsing speed on my network shares.
Using Wireshark I could narrow the problem down: MP tries to access files wich are not there...
Every time I click on an folder MP seares for .jpg/.tnb and .IFO files for all listes files and subfolders... Since this files are not there (I have turned thumb off / and not every mediafile has got an .ifo) the SMB request fails... That's why MP is slow...

Question: Is there any method to tun off this search for Thumbnails and .ifo files? I've foudn a switch to tun off the generation of thumbs bat not the request for...

Wireshark example:
2678 77.594339 10.x.x.x 10.x.x.x SMB2 306 Create Request File: Serien\folder.jpg
2679 77.594975 10.x.x.x 10.x.x.x SMB2 131 Create Response, Error: STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND

2795 82.527475 10.x.x.x 10.x.x.x SMB2 322 Create Request File: Tina\VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO
2796 82.528161 10.x.x.x 10.x.x.x SMB2 131 Create Response, Error: STATUS_OBJECT_PATH_NOT_FOUND

Thanky you so much.

I have also very slow browsing of network shares.
Very annoying!
Except that I am very pleased with MP.

I see what I can do here to speed things up... Not a bug though, more a feature request to ignore stuff on network shares.
