Hello,

I've got a problem with the TV function of MP. When I use the TV function, it only uses a very small part of my TV screen in the left upper corner. When I installed MP 1.0 RC2, at first I didn't have the problem. About two weeks ago I first noticed the problem, but I thought it might be the fact that I was using RC2. So last week I updated to 1.0 final, but the problem still exists.

I don't watch TV that often (I use MP most of the time watching movies), so I don't know exactly when the problem occured first.

When I plug in my TV cable directly into my TV it works fine. When I use the Hauppage WinTV2000 application to watch TV, it works fine as well. Watching movies in MP works ok as well. So it only occurs when watching TV through MP.

I've added a photo to clarify my problem. I also added a zip, generated by the debug function.

Thanks in advance!

Maarten

What codec setting have you got in MP config, looks like PowerDVD codecs are not being used, the Ulead one is, not sure if this is the problem, but you could try disabling that filter with filmerit.

Also what resolution is windows set for, as seems to be 1360x768, is the a dual output to monitor\TV.

I've added a screenshot of my TV settings.

I'm not really familiair with filmerit. I downloaded it, but there is a whole bunch of Ulead in the list, so wich one do I have to disable? And how do you disable a filter? I can only see options for delete, test, repair, or 'add to the list to be (re)installed'

My TV is set to 1360*768 indeed. What do you mean by dual output? There is only one video (DVI>HDMI) cable from my computer to my TV.

    Hi,
Try to set video codecs as cyberlink SP decoder (not HD-BD)

Tried that, and it seems to have fixed the problem! I set it to BD-HD because some non-HD movies were running smoother when using that codec than the normal SP. Can I leave it on BD-HD for movies, or should I set that one to SP as well?

    Thanks anyway!

    Hi,
I've never got that BD-HD to works here (not sure what it is good for & could be due to my system), but if you check with graphedit or similar tools(don't have the link but PD has! ;) ) it will tell if it's loaded & used or not.
Also saw that renderer for audio was set to cyberlink(in your graph it is not used), that one should be set to "Default DirectSound Device" & for audio codecs use MPA(cyberlink it's not used based on the graph only this one is) or ffdshow tryouts.

    Regards
    Roy

Ok, I changed the audio settings as you suggested. I just used random settings for audio, because I didn't really notice any difference:p
