Very strange playback problem (1 Viewer)

Today I was just browsing through the list, testing what works and what not, and I clicked Nasa, then Earth.
The files there won't play, if I open the link (found in mediaportal.log) in mplayerc then it won't play either.
I then opened it in graphstudio, and there it did play!
And even stranger: After I opened it in graphstudio, it plays in mediaportal too.
This is very reproducable, I tested 4 files, and they all played after opening them in graphstudio.

Is there any (part of a) log that you want to see, to get this fixed?

How did you build the graph in graphstudio? Can you make a screenshot of the working graph?
There must be some codec with a high merit interfering I think.

But if it is a merit problem, then the opening of the file in graphstudio, shouldn't have any effect?
Maybe mediaportal only plays files if they are completely saved in de temp folder?

Na, what you posted is a graph file for playback of the local file. I said like 1000 times, playing local files is different from playing urls. If you say it works in graphedit, then try to play the URL not the downloaded file! If that url works in graphedit it should work in MediaPortal.

You are so right, only the files that are in my temporary internet folder will play correctly.
The thing is, when I use "Render URL" in graphstudio, and enter the address, I immediately get a "Cannot render URL", and the graph construction report is empty.
When I use "Add media file" or "Render media file", then the file is first downloaded to the temp. internet folder, and then played from that file.

If I clean my temp. internet folder, and try to play it in media player classic, I get:

Use the Mp4splitter.ax from the MPC-HC stand alone filters package (Browse Media Player Classic - Home Cinema Files on SourceForge.net), instead of Haali. I was having the same problem of mp4 only working on local files, till I switched splitters.
