I am experiencing a problem that on some channels in the top of the screen there is a dotted white line. When I change to "zoom mode" the dotted line is gone. Has someone also experienced the same problem and if so, what can I do about it?

If I can solve this problem I have got the perfect HTPC with mediaportal 0.2 final.

Thanks in advance!

This is very common for video to have a while line on the top of the show when pulling it down with a DVB card. I get the same thing with mine. The white line is basically the top of the video. Receivers usually zoom in just a tad to get rid of this. As far as I know, there is no way to really get rid of this line without using a small amount of zoom... I could also be wrong.

    Hi,

yeah. Here it is on the bottom of the TV. :)

As others told above. Its additional info send by the broadcast station like teletext or subtitles.

Nothing much to do against it. This is one of the reasons why TVs do overscanning, it hides those lines. ;)

    Flip.
