Well did a fresh install, found a very strange thing when uninstalling mp, my programs list had 2 versions of mp - 0.2.3.0 and 0.2.3.0 RC3 - however on trying to uninstall RC3 it said no files were found then asked to remove it from the program list, but anyway a fresh install seems to have sorted the problem. thanks for all your help. i guess my tv guide problem is skin related because that hasnt sorted itself.
