ive been looking for some time to do this but havent seen any way to do it through mp yet.
ive got a new dell with a tv tuner card built into it and the card has s video and rca that will run video right into the computer but i havent seen any way to use them in mediaportal. sure i can watch cable or "rabbit ears" on it but for some reason i cant say play my play station on it or run my direct tv through it.

any info on how to get these to work would be much appreciated.

You'll have to manually add a channel. Usually it'd be something like SVHS#1 for the S-video input on a Hauppauge card.

Note that they'll be a delay due to running it through the PC, so it's better suited to capturing than actually playing the playstation.

aw that sux. any way of fixing that delay was kinda hoping to run all devices through it including the game consoles.
