Is there a way to create a playlist for video titles?

For instance, every once in a while I want to do a marathon of a given movie series, like Star Wars, Matrix, Hunger Games, and that kind of thing.

Does MP2 let me do that? I noticed the "collection" thing in the database, but I haven't encountered anything about it in the client.

If you open the context menu of your series view ,there should be an option "Add all to playlist". Never tested it though.

Well, I don't want to add all of the movies to a play list. I just want to add selected movies to a given playlist.

I haven't found any documentation about creating a new playlist.

Currently you can only add music files as single items.
