    Hello

I have four client machines attached to my MediaPortal server.

When I watch a program from one client, then stop playback and go back to the same program later, from the same machine, I am offered the option to restart from where I was last time.

I could have sworn that when I was testing MediaPortal I could partially watch a program from one machine and resume it from a different machine, but that doesn't seem to be working now.

Is there a setting I need to change to get this working? Also, is the last watch position stored on the server?

    Hello Tony

Also, is the last watch position stored on the server?
The only server component that MediaPortal 1 has is TV Server, and that's solely for TV [edit: ...and radio]. Therefore, unless you've setup database sharing:

    ...or you're using MPSync:
    https://www.team-mediaportal.com/extensions/utilities/cdb-sync

...you should expect the last watch position to be stored per-client.

I ended up using method 1 and that seems to be working fine, though I will need to do more testing over the next few days.

    Thanks for the help.
