Thanks man! I'm using 1.2 again so I hope these settings will work for that version of MP. I enabled DXVA2 (there was two of them. One was native and the other was copy-back) I select native. Hmm if I have the problem again I'll run MP in Debug mode and report back. Thanks for your help!

DXVA2n will comsume less memory than copy-back, so dxva2n is the one should be to use

Ok, watched a few things last night. And everything seemed to go smoothly! I can't say for sure what fixed it. Though I'm sure it was 90% of the suggestions in this thread! The other 10% reinstalling MP maybe
