Hi there,

Is it possible to show my movies that are in VIDEO_TS maps (so Vob-files) in Moving Pictures? It now only shows the folders that contain iso or mkv or at least just one file.

I've searched the forum, but a lot is in German...

Thanks for your help!

Ok, first lets help you make use of the forum easier. When you are at the English MovingPictures forum section, as per: Moving Pictures - MediaPortal Forum

Do not use the "search" option at the top, because this will use the *entire* MediaPortal forum. But instead use the "Search this forum" option at the right side on the 2nd menu bar (it's below the numbered pagination links to go to other pages on this forum section).

Clicking on that will slide open an easy way to find what you are looking for, via threads or actual posts. And keep checking the FAQ, as I try to keep adding questions often asked.

Now for a direct answer to your question, I believe you simply need to tell MediaPortal to include IFO files as media filetype, or it will not understand that the files within the VIDEO_TS folder are movie files. I'm not 100% sure, as I do not store my movies as such, but I recall fforde or damien explaining this to somebody before.

Adding *.ifo in the config doesn't seem to work. Maybe because these files are one level deeper in the folderstructure (folder video_ts).
I'm gonna browse the forum on the way you suggested.

fixed: eliminating the video_ts folder and copy all files to the root of the moviefolders solves this problem (after adding *.ifo to the list of filetypes).

weird, the fix doesn't make sense. All it would have to take is adding .ifo to the list. Can you try to duplicate the previous issue and post some debug logs?

So you ask me to break something that is fixed ;-)

Gonna try later on, if I can reproduce it and post some logs.
