Is there a posibility to do some automatic cutting, for music videos?! It could slice whenever there is silence...?!

Strange Issue:

Hi all,

I've been editing recordings and converting them to mpeg, all fine, Except for one Issue: when I'm done and go back to main menu. I can't open the video-editing screen the next time it will always pop back to main menu.
If I close MP and start it again its all fine and I can go in it again but only one time.

Anybody have some Idea what it could be?

Which version are you using? That was an old bug solved in a svn.

I use 0.2.2.0 stable version. But you're right, I checked on latest svn version on other pc, (never use for video editing) and there it works. I use many plug-ins on 0.2.2.0, and transferring them all to svn is tough. Any suggestions for easier way?

You could try to extract only the videoeditor (\plugin\windows) plugin from svn and put it into the installed stable version. Maye it works (remember also to copy the skin xml)

I have found the reason, it is not Video Editor but its some internal stuff, I will see how to fix that.

new features:
Added support for comskip-files:
if a text-file is found with the same name like the selected video file, you can choose to load it.
VE only supports the by default generated comskip-files.

Added mpeg to divx conversion:
You need mencoder to do a conversion.
You can set the path to mencoder in the configuration. If mencoder isnt found, VE search it in the MP root folder.
The conversion settings are very simple, they are only for some very simple, quick conversions.
If you would like to have advanced settings, you need to use the corresponding plugin.
