Videos only at 50Hz ?! With desktop at 60Hz (1 Viewer)

MediaPortal Skin: Xface
Windows Version: WMCE 2005
Video Card: ATi Radeon HD 3870
Video Card Driver: CCC 8.3
h.264 Video Codec: ffdshow

So, even if the desktop is set to 60Hz, whatever video I watch the refresh rate automatically switch to 50Hz.
I really can't find a setting to avoid this, I tried to force from the CCC panel the 60Hz refersh rate without luck.

Did you check if you have set refresh rate override in CCC?

Then it beats me ... do attach all your logs (allways) however, so that more competent ppl might have a look
