Newly setup MediaPortal HTPC. I used Goose's guide to codecs. Windows Media Player, Media Portal both play AVI files too fast. Maybe 1.25 or 1.5 times normal speed. Is this a codec problem? I've never seen this before with video playback. MKV files play at normal speed, although they have frequent glitches.
Fixed. Installing CoreAVC fixed this problem. It introduced new problems, however. <sigh>
