Yesterday I have installed Virtualclonedrive and set MP to use the deamon.exe executable inside the VirtualCloneDrive program directory to mount an image when required.

Ok, it works the first time when the virtual drive is empty, click on the movie (iso) DVD or Blue ray, and it starts playing or a list with moviefiles is shown, click on the first one and the movie starts immediately. (I also have the Blu ray handler plugin installed.. works!)

Ok then I stop the movie, click on another iso file, but everytime the first movie starts!.. I have to go into windows explorer to right click on the virtual drive to unmount the first movie to be able to mount another one.

But it get worse when I close Mediaportal and start mediaportal again.. note that the first iso is still mounted, now when I try to start another ISO, or even the same movie ISO, I get the message after some time (60 seconds) that it failed to mount the image, continue to try another 60 seconds yes/no.. clik yes, wait another minute and then the MP message it failed to mount the image.

So what do I do wrong? why is an iso not unmounted after I stop a movie or exit mediaportal, did I forget to check an option somewhere, because it obviously works with other people.

I will add a log tonight, right now I am not at my htpc :)

    Thanks.

But I checked in mediaportal 1.2.1 the core.dll is dated 24-9-2011, and this one is from 18-09-2011 so I guess it is allready installed, right?

But I will try anyways :)

Sorry for the delayed reply, but I did install the core.dll from your link as you sugested and now it works!

BUT, make sure the virtual drive is empty BEFORE starting MP, because otherwise it still cant load a new ISO..

I am happy! :D :D (also because I have now stutter free video playback using MPaudiorender)

    Nice,

Does it mean that you cannot change ISO when MP is running ? or if i understand, only when starting MP ISO should be unmount ? :)
    Thanks :)
