Vista 64 can´t play mkv or XviD anymore (1 Viewer)

Suddenly I´m unable to play most .mkv and XviD files. It worked perfectly when i just installed Vista 64 but after some automatic updates it stopped working.

I´ve been using vista 32 up until now and the same codec pack CCCP and never had any problems.
even tried to reinstall windows cause i thought there had been som broken codecs.

Anyone else had similar problems?

Windows Version: Vista Ultimate 64Bit
CPU Type: Core2Duo E6600

Memory: 2GB
Motherboard: Asus P5B
Video Card: Geforce 8800GT
Video Card Driver: 178.13_geforce_winvista_64bit_english_whql

CCCP is good, but not as good as Sharks Vista Codec Pack, and of course you would need the 64bit version, and these are updated regularly unlike cccp, and correctly configure the registry for recognition by Windows.

Sorry still not working maybe I should add, It´s only when i´m using mediaportal if i use other playback applications it works fine, I have uploaded a log but cause i dont know how to read it.
