when enabled, evr will be used for all playback in MP. so there is no need to install TV3. I haven't actually tested TV-Engine 2, so any reports about failure/success are appreciated. In theory it should work, though :)

I should install the new dll and then?

Enable it in config, save and then watch stutter free tv, it works with both MP's inbuilt TV and TVE3.

Is that what you were asking.

Feedback is works or not. see first post if logs are required.

    Ok, this we I'll try.
If It shouldn't work, to come back to old configuration, I should delete the installed dll and disable evr in config.
    Is it ok?

Other question: I have 0.2.3.0-RC3 + 16319 svn. Is it ok?
I have vista enterprise 32 bit, intel core E6600, 2GB ram and a MSI 7950GT passive.
    Is it ok?
    Best regards

Works for my current svn from yesterday so should work for you.

Hopefully works for Enterprise version of Vista as well.

If It shouldn't work, to come back to old configuration, I should delete the installed dll and disable evr in config

Just disable in config is enough.

Plase note that the deleting the .dll file will cause video playback to fail in MP :D

Correct way to revert the .dll file is to first make a backup of it and the use the old version.

I still have the bug when I watch a DVD and use the "up" key to skip forward MP just stops responding, when I use the next and last chapter keys everything works fine. This happens only with EVR and the video doesnt stop playing, it even makes the clicking noise when i press buttons, but MP wont close and I cant do anything else.

    Hi all,
in this we I tried the new dll and evr.
I installed the new dll and then I enabled it in config.
In tv section I have nvidia pure video as video and audio decoder.
I watched the tv: the impressions are good. It seems that the color are more vivid, expecially the red.
The only thing I don't like is this: if there is some white text on dark colors, the margins of the text are not linear.

    Hi Eabin

I have done a lot of testing trying to resolve this crash. I don't know if it's related to EVR or not. Running SVN 16422 with TV3 as unable to get newer versions to function, seems to me TT S2 3200 CAM support not working?

I updated my old machine, E6420 cpu only real difference, with the same SVN as above, had installed new TT & Realtek drivers previously. Running Cyberlink PDVD 7 supplied with card + TT update.
This machine ran with no crashes, throughout most of the day, picture quality was excellent etc. Still had to restart TV service following approx 4 channel changes.

Following this I did some more testing on new (this) machine. Has a Pioneer BDC-S02BK (BluRay) DVD drive, supplied with Cyberlink BD Solution. Uninstalled PDVD 7.3 (BDSolution) and installed TT PDVD 7 version, ran machine throughout evening without crashing. Picture quality excellent etc.

Obviously couldn't play BluRay DVD, so unistalled PDVD 7 and reinstalled BD Solution, ran filmerit to confirm all ok, crashing now back, I notice when opening PDVD from BD Solution initially, Windows message changing to basic.

Enclosed logs, followng crash. Using MP Test Tool 2, I ran as admin for part one, started MP as admin manually, then ran MPTT2 as admin for part 3.

I have requested Cyberlink support, is it possible to confirm the problem lies there please.

    Thanks in anticipation

    Nigel
