I shut down UAC. Still same issue. :-( I did some further testing. I made a new clean Vista installation with UAC deactivated and with administrator rights. I installed everything needed (TVEngine 17122, MP 2.3.0 with SVN 17122, MS SQL, Technotrend S2-3200 with DBA Driver 5.0.0.12, hardware drivers). First everything functioned as it should! I had quick TV start and flawless channel changes. BUT after a restart (I did not change anything in cofigurations!) same issue again. First channel starts slower and I can´t change channels. MP freeze and gives an error massage without hints. The BUG I´ve found: I can start timeshifting for every channel from the manual control window from TV-Server. The TV-Card status goes from idle to timeshifting. 2 files are created: a .ts file (with default 256 MB size) and a .tsbuffer file with only 1 kb. It works. If I stop timeshifting, these 2 files get deleted. I can start the timeshift again with any channel. BUT if I do not stop timeshift manually and try to start timeshift a new channel, the files will not be deleted and timeshift does not start, I get novideo/noaudio error massage after ca. 20 sec, card status remains "timeshifting". It looks like TV-Server cannot stop timeshifting the previous channel automatically. Is it a bug or do I do something wrong? Is there a cure? TV not functioning makes me (and my wife) crazy.
