Let us know how you like it!

One thing to mention, if you use a MCE remote, there is a new DLL that will fix the issues of some buttons not working. Also, you can disable the Media Center built into Windows 7 by going to the Control Panel -> Programs and Features -> Turn Windows Features on or off -> Media Features and unchecking the Media Center check box and restarting. That will allow you to use the Green 'Start' button for Media Portal instead of it opening the built in Media Center.

Link to the DLL remote thread just in case.

Not uac related. I turned that off. I had also turned off MCE and a few other items I didn't want\need. This is a dedicated box, so I never use the "green button". So far, my mce remote is working fine. thanks for pointing me to the dll just in case I start having issues.

So far, 7 seems nice. startup is still slow, but not as slow as vista. It is all the stuff I have starting up. Anydvd, etc...

Putting Media Portal on a delay start might make things run a little quicker...unless it's not one of the startup items... then just ignore me. :)
