Hi Graham, I have just set up a basic task (Create basic task... option in task scheduler), which worked for me. Try the following as a basic test case: 1. Set Name=Test, Description=Test task. Click the "Next>" button. 2. Leave trigger as daily and click Next. 3. Set the start date as today's date and time as, say now+10 minutes (do not check universal time). Keep the recurrence as every 1 days. Click Next. 4. Tick on the 'Display a message' option for the Action. Click Next. 5. Type a title and message (anything you want). Click Next. 6. You should see a window with all settings. If everything looks good, click Finish. Stay logged on for this test. Wait for the time to elapse, and you should see a message box appear with the message you wrote. Once this happens, go to the Task Scheduler Library (on the left menu). Select your test task and check that the status and triggers are correct, and more importantly, the next run time is correct. If this basic test works, you can then start adding more functionality. For example, allow it to run from sleep/hibernation mode - ensuring you have selected the option to 'Wake the computer to run this task' under the Conditions tab. That will allow you to troubleshoot sleep/resume/login issues. If that works, you can then run a script instead of a simple message popup. Basically, start easy and work from there. It will allow troubleshooting at each step of the process, rather than trying to troubleshoot several potential issues at once :) Please post back with results. MLH01.
