No - a 19:9 Video is played as 16:9 with default zoom.

Sorry, I can't help you more on it.
Even if my TV set is 16:9, SCART input only accept max 1024 X 768 (wich is 4:3) and, it's the TV wich do enlargement.
So, if you have time to look at the VLC plugin code for this issue, don't hesitate to let us know.

Am I missing something here?... When I install this and fire up MP Configuration I gte an error telling me the the plugin isn't compatible (MP RC2) and will be disabled!???.. Could it be Windows 7 incompatibilities?

Is there a workaround??

Back from holidays. I have some issues with Vlc and seven and i'm working on.

I have also problem with windows 7

MediaPortalSetup_1.1.0_RC-1_rev25080 + VLC 1.05 + WinXP => OK
Change from Windows XP to windows 7 and now the films plays with jerks

I also note that the plugin doesn't work with MP RC2 or 3

This plugin is sometimes very useful and I can't live without it

Your lastest version seams to be broken using MP 1.1.0 final. I got this Exception on opening the plugin section in mp configuration:

Seams that the Interface has changed and the Method dispose isnt implemented.

plugin doesn't work with mediaportal 1.0.1 final please fix it because we really need it!!!!

I downloaded http://lopez.tuparles.free.fr/mediaportal/Videolan.MPE1 and it works perfectly with MP 1.1.0

I can't get this to work. When I download the files and run the installer I get this message:

Error loading package project

Am I missing something?
Or is this not the plugin to use for flv files and the OnlineVideos plugin?

Hi,

Does this plugin work win VLC media layer 1.1.9?

Also, can you pls confirm it does what I think it does? When a movie file is selected in MP it sends the streams to VLC, who takes care of everything? Is that right? If that is the case, happy days since VLC is the best video player I have ever tried
Does VLC keep in the background in such as way that MP is the only seen interface?
