VMR9 broken (1 Viewer)

MP was working fine on my X3 720/HD3200 system a few days ago but now I can't play any video, whether local or over the network. I've just completely uninstalled it and re-installed just the client (I'm using my P4/2600XT as my main client/server now) and uninstalled all codecs and just installed the latest SAF. I've also tried re-installing the DirectX Aug 2009 redist.

It seems that somehow VMR9 has been broken judging by the error.log attached. I also can no longer add VMR9 in graphstudio and MPC-HC uses Video Renderer even if I set it to VMR9.

Anyone know how I get VMR9 working again?

You are using SAF, can you post your SAF logs too?

Re-installing the DirectX Aug2009 redist should have taken care of DirectX shouldn't it? dxdiag doesn't show any problems anyway. I'll try re-installing Cat 9.12.

Re-installing Cat 9.12 has restored VMR9. Don't really know how it got messed up but thanks for your help.
