    Hello

I've been trying to get a working system with XP Embedded. I'm now very close
but i have issues with VMR9 not being able to connect the pins in the graph.
I get picture and audio with DVD but int the log you can see traces of error 80040207
but in with TV it's no able to connect a single pin. With Regular Windows XP on the same
machine there is no problem so something is missing maybe, but i cant say what it is
could someone help say what VMR9 is dependent off. Cause the benefits with using XP embedded
in boot time is nice to have.

stream, I dont know exactly what is happening hopefully someone could help me.
PS In don't know if this thread should be moved to TvServer?

    Post fine here

But do not expect to much help from Devs\Mods because as stated this is designed to work with a full xp\vista install with updates.

You may get help from someone who has finetuned there OS to be as slim as you can possibly get and still be functional with MP.

    Good Luck

I understand that you guys are not interested in giving me support on howto configure XP embedded.
I'm satisfied just if you guys could give me a hint about what should happen where i marked HERE in the log or what serivces or something that's involved, and then i usually can use the most powerful tool Google and so on
but now i'm a little bit in the dark here.

Here is the log from a working machine.

after the TsReader sees the channel change (new PAT / PMT) it will then notify the MP side using a callback from C++ code to C# code. I haven't got any clue what could be causing that to fail (i.e. there shouldn't be any specific Windows component that is needed for that kind of basic thing.)

Now i tested streaming with mplayer and this also fails.
Now i tested with VLC and here it works fine.
Is Mediaportal and Mplayer using some service to control the RTSP stream?

Solved it, when i choosed my components for XP i couldn't see any reason to add Windows Firewall, and
if didn't i thought that everything would go through but it didn't. So i just added windows firewall and then
to let Media Portal pass through. So it's was a very basic thing thanks Tourettes.
