VMR9 on/off (webstreams) not working in RC4 (1 Viewer)

Yesterday I made a complete clean new install of MP RC4. (WinXP)

I think that the web stream part of the configuration option in Video Render Settings / VMR9 is broken.

No matter if I check "Use for playback of web streams" or not it always seems to use vmr9 for web streams.
How I notice this is that OSD is working no matter if I check this option or not.

This is a bit problematic for me since I have some issues with vmr9 and webstreams.

Can anyone confirm if this is the case. I can send complete logs etc. if needed.

I have the same issue, using MP 1.1. However, i have this issue for ages, can't remember that it worked ever.
