Volume Control on MCE remote has stopped working!? Please Help! (1 Viewer)

Hi,

Has anyone resolved this problem?

The MCE remote volume controls only appear to stop working using 0.2.2.0 I uninstalled the lasted stable and re-installed 0.2.0.4 and the volume controls work again?

Oh maybe I will do that as its really annoying me! LOL

Do we have to report this as a bug or do the developers already know about it?

OK here's the wierd thing......

Just uninstalled 0.2.0.4......

Just Re-Installed 0.2.2.0... No SVN's

The MCE Remote Volume is now working!!!

Will re-post if that changes!

When you uninstalled 0.2.0.4 - did you remove any files manually or did you only use the Add/Remove programs?

I used add/remote programs. Then I deleted the whole MP folder from \program files\ then I re-booted and installed MP 0.2.2.0.

Strange or what?

Did the same the last time I tested it.

Strange - it wont work here. What drivers have you installed for your remote? I belive that I just pluged it in and let Windows find the drivers.. I have tried looking for newer drivers, but can't seem to find any.

I hate this - got my wireless keyboard laying around so I can change the volume.. :-(

Will try reinstalling it again one of these days.

Make sure the volume is turned up in Windows, if its low and then MP gains focus, there will be little or no volume.

This can happen if using MP in windowed mode (happens to me frequently).

There is no sound BUG reported and confirmed, that i have heard of.
