Wait 10 seconds after IR Blast before recording starts? (1 Viewer)

Is there a way to have MediaPortal wait for, say, 10 seconds after sending the IR Blast to change channels (using IR Server Suite) before beginning the recording?

I am using a Hauppauge Colossus, and normally recordings work perfectly, even when the IR Blast wakes up the STB from sleep. About 25% of recordings do not work properly, however, because the channel change does not finish on time, and the audio / video break of the channel change causes media players to not know how to handle the file.

If I chop off the first 10 seconds or so of these files, they will play perfectly, but it is a pain to have to habitually do this. Thanks for any help.

Until I can come up with some solution for this I am going to leave my STB on 24/7. I would like, however, to be able to allow it to sleep.

I would like to clarify that this is principally a problem when the STB is sleeping and is woken up by the USB-UIRT.

There's no way I can think of to make TV Server wait. I don't think an IRSS delay would help because the IRSS commands are sent asynchronously (ie. they won't hold up TV Server).

In short: answer = no.

Thanks for the reply, mm135200. For the moment I'll just set the STB to not sleep. And, please consider this as well a feature request for future versions. Thanks for a great product!
