That proves TVServer is not connecting to the database, if you increase the time delay for start and make sure re-initiliase tuner is enabled in TVServer\powerscheduler, does it make a difference.

It really does look like the firewire connection is not behaving nicely on resume.

The only other thing i can find, is in device manager, find your firewire device, make sure it is not allowed to be shut down to save power.

Okay. I have to watch the first of the three lost episode finals now but tomorrow I will try
* checking device manager
* PCI firewire card
* fiddle around with initialization
* downgrade bios

Woohoo! It works! Downgrading the bios and fiddeling around with the settings did not help so I installed a pci-card with firewire and it helped.

It wakes and sleeps properly for recordings, I'm so happy

The screen is however still black on resume, after a minute or two the mediaportal home screen is drawn and everything starts to work but it would be nice if it worked immediatly. I'm using the latest drivers for the integrated graphics. Do you have any idea how to fix this? I've looked around and more people appear to be having the same problem but I have not found a solution.

Woohoo! It works! Downgrading the bios and fiddeling around with the settings did not help so I installed a pci-card with firewire and it helped.

Glad about that.

Black screen seems a really random event, just think its the way the graphics drivers behave, especially if connected to a TV.

Another thread i think, search black screen on resume, see what you find.
