wake pc with non mce remote (1 Viewer)

Hi.

I have a MCE receiver and a non MCE remote that I would like to use together.
I found out how to learn the ir codes and map them with irss + mp control plugin and it is working fine.
But is it possible to wake up the htpc with this remote?? Or is this hardware related so that the receiver and remote should fit together?

If you want wake-up pc with non mce remote, you must have compatible IR receiver with wake-up function (IR receiver must recognize power command). Wake-up with remote is HW oriented process.

What a shame.
I just bougt a vishey tsop98200 and want to use a Beo4 remote (Bang & Olufsen) 455khz and connect it to the CIR header on my Asrock motherboard.
I am currently using the CIR input with a 36khz ir sensor and a mce remote and it is working perfectly.
In theory this should work, but I wont be able to to turn on the pc then.
