@M.Hulot there is no need to upgrade if your system currently does what it needs to do. MediaPortal has an extensive changelog that tells you exactly what each [ICODE]newer[/ICODE] version offers. But everything should work fine for you on latest version, and if you just invest a little time to fix the skin issues you are dealing with then you can run the latest with ease. As for one stream not showing the right info, that might be something you have to take up with the MediaInfo developers. They constantly update their application as well, and often it helps to manually update the mediainfo.dll as MediaPortal does not update as often. v20.09 was released 4-days ago -- MediaInfo New feature on that version is "MKV: support of Dolby Vision metadata", so that might be critical for you if you have those files, or useless if you only deal with MP4 files. MediaInfo has been a crash prone aspect of MediaPortal, so they mitigated a lot of that with the "wrapper" system in v1.23, including support for all those new fields that are now available. If you don't care for that if your system never crashed, or you don't use the extra info, then stay on v1.22. PS: If you want stability, stick to stable versions, so work on setting up v1.25 first, and once you have a situation that works, make a backup and then try v1.26-pre or a nightly build even. That way if you run into issues you can simply go back to your "stable" backup. PPS: Don't be afraid to start fresh, because as you already noticed if MediaPortal upgrades, but your skin isn't compatible, then you run into issues that you might blame MediaPortal for whereas with the default skin working fine, you would have known to contact the skin-developer instead to inquire about an update (after you first check their forum thread to see if it's perhaps a known issue, or update already available). In the end we're supposed to enjoy MediaPortal for the functionality it offers, not spend all our time tweaking it
