After setting up my htpc i have noticed that dvds and live tv look washed out for some reason. I have callibrated the tv using a number of hd clips and i haven't touched the colour options in ccc. However today when i was watching an xvid clip the colours were spot on and looked great. Anybody have any idea why the powerdvd 8 codec looks washed out even though i have used it before i reinstalled and it worked fine. Btw it looks like this in powerdvd as well which is weird but i cant figure out what i could've done or not done to make this happen... any ideas...
