Hi guys,
This Watch Series channel is fantastic! ...But it only plays the first file you select.
For instance, seinfeld. If I select an episode all works great. You select a site to buffer from, it starts buffering to 100% and it starts playing. skipsteps work great, and it plays perfectly.
But if you select the next episode, the sites you can select to download from show up, but if you select one, nothing happens....You just hear a click. MP doesn't freeze. The video just doesn't start to buffer and nothing happens.
Only if I restart MP, the episode works...but again...only the first you select, everything else thereafter gives no response.

Is this a setting I can change somewhere or is this a bug?

I can confirm this happens to me too. I posted it in another thread

Also some of the catagories other then Series are empty or are unable to play the provided files/streams. Is this caused by the website it is downloading/streaming from or is it caused by OnlineVideos?

You are quite right kkendall, i do remember getting the anime running, but maybe they changed it.
Is there something interesting in those subcategories?

And as for the playing of 2 videos: I can't even stop a video without a major hangup of mediaportal right now, and I don't have the patience to watch a complete episode to check what's happening after that.

Maybe at the end of the week if my pc is feeling better...

I think Documentaries, Shows and Sports contain quite some interesting stuff for me! I'm not interested in Anime, but I think others are.
I've got no problem stopping videos so far...
It seems sites other then Watch Series don't have the play-only-the-first-file problem.

If an episode doesn't have a working link (say, one of the first episodes of 3rd Rock from the Sun) that's probably because no torrent (does it work with torrents or otherwise?) is available on their website right? Or is that plugin related.
Btw, I see on watch-series.com there are also 5 Most Popular catagories, maybe that can be added to the plugin also?
    Too bad it doesn't have Series-subcatagories like on Watch TV Shows Online Free - tvDuck.com : Drama | Action | Comedy | Animation | RealitySci-Fi | Children | Soap | Talk Shows | Movies | Bollywood

And also, on the bottom of the site there are some links to other sites, like Watch Movies Online Filme Gratis Download Free - Watch-Movies.ro or Watch Movies Online Download - Watch Movies AZ . Same idea, but for movies!

Ok, Documentaries and the rest will be added when I have the time.

If you play a bit from one video, then stop and watch another one, will that one play correctly? At my pc it plays correctly.

It's not torrent based, these are just regular videos (mostly flv) that are on the servers listed. Sometimes videos are removed from that server due to various reasons, but the link on watch-videos.com isn't removed, so then you get an error. If you watch videos from watch-series in your browser you can report broken links (and that is roughly what the percentages mean)

    And of course: Logs!

    Hi mate

If I don't let it play through most of the time I can play another. Its not the links its on MP side of things after a restart you can carry on playing again. It's been doing it on The Vampire Diaries in watch-series for us and the Mrs keeps telling me off. lol

I tried to do logs but in debug mode I can't get a video to play.

Correct, in debug-mode no external plugins are loaded.
You could set the log-verbosity in the mediaportal config (General section) to debug, and post the resulting mediaportal.log
An alternative is to find a really short video...

In the mean time, I fixed a bug where the url could not be found if there were only one choice for the source, and smoothened some server-parsing stuff, so all the other subcategories should work (not tested them all though...) except the cartoons, which mostly come from youku and I haven't made the parser for that server.
