I'm using MP RC3 with the TV-Server(Athon64 3000, 1GB, 2x 80 HDD, 1x400 GB HDD, XP Pro; standalone) and a Client for the LCD-TV. The Problem is that when i'm entering MyTV (for watching TV or looking in the EPG) and go back with the green button on the remote everything looks fine, but: if i press the "OK" Button on the remote a standard windows error sound in played! it is really annoying, because i normaly use the ok-button very often, and every time i hear the sound.
I already had the same problem with RC1. Now i found out that when i'm leaving MyTV with the green button the watchdog opens in the background. and the focus in on it! (i'm also using mptraymod for the focus and greenbuttonstartup).
if i am switching with alt+tab back to MP the sound stops. so the sound is caused by the watchdog. and why watchdog starts when i'm leaving mytv? mp is very stable and i didn't restarted the tv-server the last few months (with rc1) and even the client normaly never crashes!
the only way to stop playing the sound is to exit mp and start again.
how do i get rid of my problem? imho the easiest would be for me to disable the watchdog? how can i disable it?
