Watching windows live stream through MP (1 Viewer)

I have read through the manual and the documentation, even scoured the forums but I'm still not sure how to play a live Windows Media stream through MP. Can someone assist me in this? I have a live tv (windows) stream from a site that I wish to see through MP, adding it to 'My Radio' shows me a blank screen with just the audio playing. Going full screen and changing resolutions did not help.
