I'm looking to control the 'WAVE' volume within media centre, by assigning the wav volume controls to the 'up and down channel' buttons.
I realize that you can set a master control to either adjust the master volume or wav volume, but I want to do both... ie adjust the master volume by the volume keys on the MCE remote and simultaneously adjust the wav volume using some different buttons.

My media centre is hooked up to a high powered amplifier (which doesn't have a remote control btw), which is constantly set at high volume. Problem is, late in the evening, when I want to listen to music at a very low level, the master volume doesn't go down low enough... so.. if I had access to the wave volume, I could crank it down even lower
