Trying to set up MP2 in a Win7 VM as a backend TV server.
I have a HDHR3, and it see's the three tuners just fine.
When I scan for channels (on a fresh install of MP2) on ONE tuner, I am getting 3 or 4 hits per channel on ATSC, and 6 hits per channel on clear QAM.
I have 400-500 channels tops via Comcast.
Why am I getting 1500 to 3000+ channels when I am trying to set up MP2?!?
It's taking HOURS to scan for channels, or delete channels once they have been scanned for.
Where is this info being kept, so that I can delete it and start fresh?
The VM has snapshots of the base OS (Win7 64) and the HDHR SW already installed.
Is it the HDHR SW? Do I need to rebuild from scratch? WTF???!!
I'm leery of scanning for channels again cause I'm sure it'll find like five or six THOUSAND channels on my next setup scan.
I tried this on the host OS as well, and can't get it to work properly at all. Sometimes it see's all three tuners, sometimes one, sometimes, none.
So I'm trying to set it up on a VM to avoid other host OS foul ups.
