webepg in TVserver V1.0.2 (1 Viewer)

Just reinstalled everything and things are sunshine but not EPG.
I'm a faithful user of MP EPG Downloader but there is a nasty in current release leaving me without a working EPG, so I'm looking for alternatives - and WebEPG seems popular so I figure I'll give it a go.

So in my installed MP TVServer V1.0.2 I look for the files, nope there not there. I have a separate TVServer so I look on the client, and there are the files. Soo...?
What do I copy from the client to the server and where do I put the files?
Or isn't it designed to work this way or what?

In v1.0.2 WebEPG was not yet ported to TVServer. To use it you need to have MP (client part) installed on the same PC as the TVServer. MP doesn't need to be running, just installed. Then you can schedule WebEPG to run through Windows Scheduler.

Or you could upgrade to 1.1.0 Beta which has WebEPG as a plugin within TVServer.

Can't I just copy the files so I don't have to do a reinstall of the server?

Is it "safe" ti update to the 1.1 beta or does that involve a complete reinstall?

Copying the files won't do because WebEPG in 1.0.2 depends on MP. Libraries, databases and settings of MP need to be there.

Well 1.1.0 beta is still ... beta. IIRC a reinstall is necessary but you can keep the TVServer database.
