I am using the MediaPortal_0.2.3.0_RC3_Setup.exe with MediaPortal-svn--10-17-2007--23-05-Rev16261.exe update. My Webepg using radio times.com in "Channels" selection in WebEPG configuration has Guide days=0 even though I have it set up to handle Grab Days=14 days. Before updating from 0.2.3.0 svn 15317 25/07/2007 webepg worked like a treat automatically and WebEPG configuration was in the older format! When updating webepg using "Channels" and not "Websites" which uses 1-xmltv.radiotimes.com I received 3,414k TVguide.xml file and after doing update in media portal tv guide I have no listings in the TV Guide which means I am not able to setup advance TV recordings. Reconfiguring Webepg tp to use "Website" not "Channels" and selecting 2-www.mydigiguide.com as the radiotimes.com didn't work, the section Guide days=14 which reflects Grab Days =14, however when updating webepg after configuring, the file TVguide.xml is equal to only 4k! I guess I will dump this update and go back to Media Portal 2.3.0 SVN15317 dated 25/07/2007 where my EPG was working and was able to do advance tv record program! What is the problem when will it be looked into? I have been using Media Portal since Showshifter ran into problems and this is the very first problem that I needed to report. I have 4 computers using Media Portal and only update one machine at a time, however, I have just updated a sister computer to this one which is idenical in all hardware n software built at the same time as this computer with the same results. Thank goodness for back ups!!!!!! Many Thanks Team Media Portal of such an excellent product but please would somebody be so kind to help preserve my sanity and help me understand what went wrong! Thank you! PS I have replaced the Hauppauge Dec2000t Digital PVR with HVR 1300 Digital and have 1 Wintv Nova T-500 MCE using XP Pro!

Thanks James for your answer

Thank you James for your answer. This gave me confidence to take the time to uninstall and delete media portal directory and start from scratch. Its a lot of work as I have many things tweaked and modified, but I find I only need to redo one computer and transfer media portal directory to the second computer. Since the hardware and directory structures are identical the only thing I need to do with the second computer is to remove the 3 tv cards from the tv configuration in Media Portal and add the three tv cards installed in the second computer. Even though the cards are identical they have different signatures otherwise MP won't play or record tv on the second computer. All in all it is nice to have WebEPG working again and Media Portal is excellent. I have just finished placing the TV Logos in and the TV Guide is brilliant on the two computers. Many thanks goes to TritonT for his posting of Freeview TV Logos, they are flaming great and to madsrh for his MediaPortal Icons. I am sorry for Showshifter demise and blame Mr. Gates for this! When MS claimed they invented the 10 foot interface during their MCE private launch to the dealer base this made me ask out loud "What is ShowShifter?". MS presenter did not know! I sure set him straight! Media Portal has been brilliant through the years and the contributors for this forum help makes Media Portal my HTPC of choice and the only one I recommend. Of course the largest Thanxs goes to Frodo who started Team Media Portal.
