Hi

I got some wrong charakters in the description of some channels. it looks like an ascii code greater 127. here is an example:
<programme>
<title>Exclusiv – Das Star-Magazin</title>
<desc>Boulevardmagazin - Moderation: Frauke Ludowig</desc>
</programme>
<programme>
<title>RTL Aktuell</title>
<desc>Nachrichten - Moderation: Peter Kloeppel</desc>
</programme>
<programme>
<title>RTL Aktuell – Das Wetter</title>
<desc>Wetterbericht - Moderation: Christian Häckl</desc>
</programme>
<programme>
<title>Explosiv – Das Magazin</title>
<desc>Boulevardmagazin - Moderation: Markus Lanz</desc>
</programme>

I think the "–" should be normally an "-". My grabber is tvtoday.de

    Hi tomtom21000

    Thx for your reply. Hmmm i can't believer that.
    What do you see behind the "i think the" ?

    "I think the "–" should be normally an "-"

    I see there only a square.

    Hi guys,

    It seems IE displays boxes and Firefox displays '-' in place. Hence in the forum some people can see the characters and others not.

    Michael: Sorry, I've been quite busy lately, but I will try to check this tonight.

    In tvguide.xml this the line is the same, but to avoid browser issues here is the link to a zipped text file:
