Weird Recording Issues?? (1 Viewer)

I just noticed over the last couple of days that some of the shows I have scheduled do no stop recording. Like say Robot Chicken is on at 11pm, it will start recording, then when i get up at 6 am it will still be recording robot chicken. Anybody have any ideas on this one?

Did anyone solve this problem? I have the same problem with TVEngine 3.

I have had this a couple of times. I think I was able to narrow it down to the self contained web interface application (but an old version). When I scheduled a recording, the post-record setting would go to a seemingly random very large number for most of the scheduled shows (12856 minutes for example).

The easy fix was to open the schedules table in the database and manually edit all the post-record times. This is also the best way to see if this is the cause of your problems. Of course post-record value should be whatever you have chosen, not a random number.

It hasn't happened often, so I could never confirm that was the real cause, but the symtom was always the same.
