Weird squares in background (1 Viewer)

My window background is made of weird squares (see picture below).......
I have tested with version 0.2.2 as well .... installed the latest Forceware drivers, checked general settings options with no result so far

Note: Background.png [from the skin directory] looks fine when viewed directly

    Hmm, last time i saw this was a driver issue, in nvidia control panel try deselecting "let the 3D application decide" under 3D settings\adjust image settings, i set mine for quality and that seemed to clear the problem for me.

    How about driver ver 158.24, have you used that one, had a couple of issues with newer ones crashing out playing video's.

    Any game you can test with, has the card it's own power rail and getting adequate amperage. if the answer is yes you may have a faulty card.

    I went back to my oldest drivers version (162.18) ....
    What bugs me is that media portal is the only software I have this issue with. My TV card software (Leatek DTV 2000 H) works fine, as well as VLC ....
    What should I do?
