I know what droped frames are, but on the screen you get by pressing "!" what is the jitter number measureing
realy what I am trying to do is make HDTV work, it has done before (several MP reinatalls ago) and I want it back, what can I do to reduce droped frames and eliminate jitter. I usualy get 0 dropped frames on SD and some on HD, usualy 0 jitter on both but some HD programs I get jitter of about 30-40. CPU useage not > 50% ever.
if you want me to use graphedit you will need to tell me how to make it show a graph first, If I use connect to remote graph the result is a blank graph (or no remote graphs even listed depending on where I get graphedit from (one seems to be graphedt.exe and the other graphedit.exe))
it seems to work fine in mediacenter.
