I have just purchased a FireDTV-T box and are about to buy a CAM for "Boxer" (Sweden). What cam should i buy??

I cant find any information on which CAM's that supports multiple channels.
Maybe a list of which CAM's that supports multiple channels for different providers would de a good idea?

The alphacrypt cam supports multiple channels. But before buying it check if its working for Boxer/Sweden.

On Boxers homepage there are tre approved CAMs. I have SCMs and when I tried it seemed only to decode 1 channel. What about the others? Anyone knows?

    Thats good news for me!

I have an older verson of that "Viaccess REDCAM" V.481, but from what i have found out it is possible to uppgrade that CAM to V.483...

Is there anyone who know how to do that??

    >KoktGrus, what CAM do you use?

I just surfed to Dustin and then you are using the SCM redlabel. Do you have V.483 that krypto is talking about?

Beaware that by default multi-channel decoding is turned OFF
If your CAM is capable of this (or you want to test) it, you need to turn it ON
    How??
    -Start setup tv
    -click on the tvserver node
-you see a list of all cards in the right view
-select the card with the multi-decoding cam
    -press edit
    -dialog pops up
-enter the max # of channels the cam can decode

    Confused!!!!!

I succeed with my Cam uppgrade and it works perfectly, but.....
    How does this actualy work???
MUX, is that channels that is on the same key or??
And does that mean that if my CAM supprots mulltippel channels that i can decode more than one MUX???

    Did i get anything right??
