MUX, is that channels that is on the same key or??

No Mux = transponder
Normally dvb-s satellite (or dvb-c / dvb-t) contains multiple transponder.
Each transponder transmits multiple tv/radio channels.
All channels within a transponder have the same
- frequency
- modulation
- polarisation
- bandwidth

Multi-channel decoding means that you can decode 1 more more tv channels
IF those channels are ALL within the same transponder

And does that mean that if my CAM supprots mulltippel channels that i can decode more than one MUX???

No.. the tuner of your tvcard can only receive 1 transponder at the same time..
So this is not possible

I have now done some testing with my uppgraded "Viaccess RedCAM" and it decodes at least 4 channels at the same time from "Boxer/Sweden".

My card has the following spec.

SCM Microsystem
* Platform: EuroCAM
* Application: V 1.08
* Viaccess Version: V 483

Hmm, another thing can be the FireDTV. What version of driver/fireware do you have? I am using 4.6.0.0 it seems, I will try to upgrade that later today...

I uppgraded the firmware a week ago, dont now the verson number it was right now, but i dont think that there has come any new driver since then!

I can record from at least two channels on the same MUX now.

Unfortunalty the TV-server seem a bit unstable on my configuration. I have been trying to see the recordings when they are doing it this resulted in "Unkown error" and it seems I can't get MP to enter S3 and then wake up for a scheduled recording... I need to do more testing before posting an support issue.

2 x FireDTV

If i use 2 FireDTV boxes, do i then need two CAM´s and two "Boxer" cards to decode all channels??
If so, is it even theoreticaly possible to do this with only one CAM and card??

It would be nice to record one cannel on MUX1 and watch another channel on MUX2 without having to use two "Boxer" cards.
