What happens when series files are not found? (2 Viewers)

I had an issue where my linux box was down for a while so the mapped folder with the series wasnt mounted.

When i started mytvseries it didnt show any series, so i quit MP and mounted the series folder.

Still nothing showed, but the plugin started working on something, and it took over an hour for all the episodes to be listed again...

is this a bug? did it reparse all the series? why? cant it just say "cant find series files, please restart" or something?

It does what you suggest depending on an option. To get what you want make sure you hav "don't clear local references for missing files on scan" ticked in the config. Otherwise it assumes you have deleted your files and, as you say, has to reparse them when they are back.
